Wool-gathering: Verb. Originally, the act of gathering loose tufts of wool caught on hedgerows as sheep passed by, for minimal profit.

Over time, a figurative phrase used to suggest indulgent or aimless mind-wandering. Yet somehow it beautifully illustrates the artistic process of a weaver: the gathering of ideas, teasing out tangled connections, an agile and intricate composition.

This journal is a collection of disparate thoughts, inspiration and contemplation: an insight into the creative process.  To see a glimpse behind the scenes, follow us here.
